About the Event
The Writers’ Lab is a chance for you to connect with other writers while exploring craft and testing new work in a safe, supportive environment. These monthly labs provide an inclusive space, a keyboard and a small audience of peers to test out your material. The series will be guided by practising artists and professional writers: Luke Di Somma, Lucy O’Brien, Casey Gould and Loclan Mackenzie-Spencer. Participants will share work and receive feedback from the group in a collaborative environment led by the facilitator. It’s a great space to learn from your peers, try something new and develop your work.
The Labs are open to practising MT writers: bookwriters, lyricists, composers. There is an expectation of some prior knowledge or experience in one of these creative disciplines so that all participants can fully benefit from feedback and discussion of the work.
