1:1 Chat with Siobhan Ginty

Throughout her career, Siobhan Ginty has amassed diverse credits across the entertainment industry in both creative and performance roles.

She is the Creative Director of Mad Apple, Cirque Du Soleil’s brand-new Las Vegas Residency which opened in May 2022 at the NY NY Casino and most recently choreographed Jekyll and Hyde The Musical at The Hayes Theatre in Sydney, Australia.

As Show Director at Resorts World Sentosa, Singapore from 2018-2021 Siobhan conceptualized, directed and choreographed live entertainment for Universal Studios Singapore, Southeast Asia Aquarium, Resorts World Casino and Sentosa Convention Centre. She curated Chinese New Year Gala’s, VIP Casino Events, Death Fest Live for Halloween Horror Nights and the unique immersive underwater fine dining experience Aqua Gastronomy.

Siobhan was the Director of The Illusionists across its worldwide productions. Associate Director of The Illusionists 2.0 and The Illusionists 1903 world tours after creating both shows in Australia with The Works Entertainment. She was also on the artistic team of Cirque Du Soleil’s LUZIA in North America.

Siobhan’s Australian Resident Director/Choreographer credits include We Will Rock You, A Chorus Line, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Asian and NZ tours of The Rocky Horror Show and an International Tour of Jekyll and Hyde.

As a choreographer, Siobhan created a new production of The Mikado for Opera Queensland with director Stuart Maunder. The production was restaged for New Zealand Opera and The State Opera South Australia.

She was Associate Choreographer for Colours of Malaysia, Opening Ceremony in KL 2009, and Assistant Choreographer for the Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the 2006 Commonwealth Games. Siobhan has choreographed for Sandy Lam in Hong Kong, The Big Day Out Festival, New Mardi Gras Sydney, Deni Hines, Spencer and the Rhythm Cats and the Queen Tribute Show for Roadhouse Cabaret in London.

Performance credits include CATS, Titanic the Musical, Jekyll and Hyde, Kiss Me Kate, Cinderella, The Witches of Eastwick, Showboat, Happy Days, The Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and the feature film Bootmen, directed by Dein Perry.
